FLORES - Música: Vals de las flores - Tchaikovsky
Pjotr Ilich Tchaikovsky - Vals de las flores de "El Cascanueces".
El ballet "El Cascanueces", fue estrenado el 17 de diciembre de 1892, en el legendario teatro Mariinskji de San Petersburgo con la coreografía original de Lev Ivanov, el libro de Marius Petipa y la música de Piotr I. Tchaikovski.
La primera historia que se conoce de "El Cascanueces" está basada en el libro de cuentos de Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, titulado: "El Cascanueces y el Rey de los ratones" (1816). Sin embargo, el argumento que daría vida, años más tarde al ballet deriva de una adaptación que Alejandro Dumas (padre) hiciera del texto de Hoffmann.
Esta obra consolidó a Tchaikovski como el más importante compositor de música para ballet, famoso además por obras como "El Lago de los Cisnes" y "La Bella Durmiente".
Sinopsis argumental:
Es Nochebuena y la ilusión se vive en el ambiente. Una niña y su hermano esperan vivir una noche mágica. Al llegar al salón, algo les sorprende: un árbol de Navidad iluminado y repleto de juguetes y golosinas.
El excéntrico padrino de los niños ha construido un fabuloso castillo por el que pasean y danzan elegantes damas y caballeros.
La niña recibe el obsequio de un cascanueces (soldadito de madera que sirve para romper la cáscara de las nueces). En sus sueños, ella verá al juguete convertirse en príncipe y a partir de ahí aparecerán en escena las fantasías y aventuras de esta niña tan especial.
La música del ballet de Tchaikovski es una de sus partituras más populares, pertenece al período romántico y contiene unas de sus melodías más memorables "La Trepak" o danza rusa es una de las piezas más reconocidas del ballet, junto con los famosos "Vals de las Flores" y Marcha, y además la ubicua "Danza de la Hada de Azúcar". El ballet contiene armonías sorprendentemente avanzadas.
